Day 6 and Day 7 of the 2013 Charity Walk are like a blur. Just north of the border on Day 6 Steve encounters a javelina. Not sure who enjoyed it more – Steve or the Javelina. After a short-lived snorting match, Steve took the picture, so he was happy. Further into the walk South toward the border, Steve encounters a coyote. Not to be deterred, Steve pulls out a protein bar and feeds the hungry Coyote. The coyote was most certainly not afraid of people coming within a few feet of eating right out of his hand. Steve certainly enjoys the wildlife. Ask to see his pictures.
Day 7 found Steve south of the border making his way toward Rocky Point. Walking through town and back into the high Sonoran desert, Steve is making good time. He said he feels good and is looking forward to finishing this years walk on Monday. We appreciate your continued prayers and support for the children of the Mexico Children’s Foundation.
