As we enter the most uplifting season of the year, the leaders and staff of Mexico Children’s Foundation are grateful for your participation and support throughout the year. In 2013, we reorganized the foundation, changed the name, acquired our US 501(c)3 non-profit status, and completed another banner year of helping children in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. Our founder, Steve Schwab, completed his 10th annual charity walk from Phoenix to Rocky Point, accumulating over 2,000 miles and raising thousands of dollars for MCF. He and our staff Thank You for your on-going trust and support.
For 2014, Mexico Children’s Foundation, will take two major strides forward by (1) expanding to serve children in need in other areas of Mexico and (2) we will do something no other foundation we know of is willing to do – be transparent with our supporters about how we spend your donations and where your money is going to serve the children. This is true transparency and allows you to see exactly how your donations are used. What you will see is more children being assisted with medical needs across Mexico and how your donations are directed for the children. We believe in the future of the children we help and we are thankful you are participating with us to help the children in Mexico.
As we enter the Christmas Season, our hearts are grateful for the many blessings we have, for you, our friends of the foundation who tirelessly support our work, and for the opportunity to continue serving children who truly need our help. Our hands are turned toward the children to enable them to receive the medical assistance they need to grow, to survive, and to have an opportunity for a healthy life. Our prayers are for healthy children and blessings on the many friends of the foundation who continue to support MCF year after year.
