He Did It! Steve made it to Rocky Point with a police escort to a cheering crowd of both MCF participant children, their parents, reporters, and his Sea Side Reservations staff. The catered event was highlighted by Steve greeting the guests and a short speech by one of the parents thanking Steve and MCF for the support.
The children were the center of attention as Soledad, Erica and Yaneth greeted the families, spoke to reporters, and maintained the focus on the mission of MCF. Steve, tired but happy to have arrived, took time to greet the children and families before inviting everyone to enjoy the catered meal.
Today Steve crossed over the 2000 mile mark in raising awareness and funds for the Mexico Children’s Foundation. The 2013 Charity Walk is official ‘in the books’ and the donations continue coming in.
