A few words about us
The Mexico Children’s Foundation is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2003 by Steve Schwab and has been helping the children of Puerto Penasco for nine years.
Mexico Children’s Foundationoffers a variety of outpatient, hospital-based and emotional support for children and families – from diagnosis all the way through medical treatment. Our program helps to distract children from their pain, and connect the families with others facing similar conditions. We provide services to both the children of Penasco and their families who are in desperate need both financially and medically. Children are our future no matter where they live or what their economic background. We must be there to help them live their dreams.
Our vision
MCF is here to help the children of Puerto Penasco, one child at a time. MCF wants to directly impact the health and education of a young life. Puerto Penasco, Mexico is a beautiful vacation spot with the wonderful Sea of Cortez and magnificent sunsets. However, there are many residents who live in poverty and cannot afford medical care, educational needs, or food for their children. The Foundation provides transportation, clothing and school needs for those that cannot afford it. No child should be left behind, no matter what the circumstance.
